MOVIES

I REALLY not in the mood for blogging. But I just want to keep update the list of my movies (which I watched) in my blog. Haha.. So here I am, writing things which already happened dayysss ago..

The movies I watched :

1. PERCY JACKSON & THE OLYMPIANS : THE LIGHTNING THIEF

This movie was supposed to be watched TOGETHER with my friends. We're already crazy about the books. And then we all knew that this book was going to made as a movie, we agreed to watch it together. Sadly, Our schedule made it bad. So we watched it by ourself. Me watched it with my sis. Maria by herself. and Tony with his bro. haha..
AND, after we all already watched this movie, the word which always said first about this movie : LOGAN LERMAN (is so HANDSOME!!!)
FYI : This movie was made based on the book with the same title. Author : Rick Riordan.

The Story :
It's the 21st century, but the gods of Mount Olympus and assorted monsters have walked out of the pages of high school student Percy Jackson's Greek mythology texts and into his life. And they're not happy: Zeus' lightning bolt has been stolen, and Percy is the prime suspect. Even more troubling is the sudden disappearance of Percy's mother. As Percy adapts to his newly discovered status as a demi-god (his father is Poseidon), he finds himself caught between the battling titans of Mt. Olympus. He and his friends embark on a cross-country adventure to catch the true lightning thief, save Percy's mom, and unravel a mystery more powerful than the gods themselves.

2. THE WOLFMAN

This is not really a special movie. I watched this movie just for killing time. I watched this with Tony, Nje and Giov. And I couldn't help laughing whenever I remember "the accident". It was really embarassing. Arghhh.. OMG. (I don't want to share this.. No offense. But it was really stupid of me!!)
The plot of the story is predictable. But some of the scenes can make you jump. This is the kind of movie you should watch when you want to laugh. Even though the main characters are not that handsome and beautiful... the setting of the places are wonderful! Really. I love it. Gloomy but interesting.

The Story :
Lawrence Talbot, a haunted nobleman, is lured back to his family estate after his brother vanishes. Reunited with his estranged father, Talbot sets out to find his brother... and discovers a horrifying destiny for himself. Talbot's childhood ended the night his mother died. After he left the sleepy Victorian hamlet of Blackmoor, he spent decades recovering and trying to forget. But when his brother's fiancée, Gwen Conliffe, tracks him down to help find her missing love, Talbot returns home to join the search. He learns that something with brute strength and insatiable bloodlust has been killing the villagers, and that a suspicious Scotland Yard inspector named Aberline has come to investigate.

3. FROM PARIS WITH LOVE

From the title, the first impression come into your mind that this movie is about drama and love and such of things like that. But, when you look at the poster, you will know that this movie is all about action. also love (if I should add). The movie is not that great. But still enjoyable. 2 of 5 stars.
Btw, Jonathan Rhys Meyers who played as the main character, James Reece, IS HANDSOME!! Haha.. That's why I still want to watch it. hehe.. xP

The Story :
A personal aide to U.S. Ambassador in France, James Reece (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) has an enviable life in Paris and a beautiful French girlfriend, but his real passion is his side job as a low-level operative for the CIA. All James wants is to become a bona fide agent and see some real action. So when he's offered his first senior-level assignment, he can't believe his good luck until he meets his new partner, special agent Charlie Wax (John Travolta) - a trigger-happy, wisecracking, loose cannon who's been sent to Paris to stop a terrorist attack. Wax leads James on a white-knuckle shooting spree through the Parisian underworld that has James praying for his desk job. But when James discovers he's a target of the same crime ring they're trying to bust, he realizes there's no turning back...and that Wax himself might be his only hope for making it through the next forty-eight hours alive.

FROM PARIS WITH LOVE

I watched this movie with Willy & Anne, Ditya and Edu on last Saturday, after school, as usual. At first we wanted to watch Valentine's Day (especially Anne & I, coz I don't think the 'guys' really looking forward for this movie).. sadly, Valentine's Day movie started at 12.30 p.m and we were out of school at 12.45, and the distance from the school to Djakarta Theater is 15 minutes long (give or take).. So we decided to watch "From Paris with Love"..

I know the title is a little bit to be "too lovely" to become of the title of action movie. Haha.. when I heard this movie, I thought this was drama, and after I looked at the poster, I knew that this was REALLY an action! You also can understood that JOHN TRAVOLTA IS NOT REALLY INTO DRAMA.. Don't ya think??! Haha..
